Upcoming Events

All Ages Build Club will be held at the Windsor Regional Library on the first Friday of every month from 4-5pm.

Several branches are now offering monthly “Build Club” events, which are great opportunities for children to get hands-on engineering and problem-solving exercise with age-appropriate materials. Build Clubs are built on finite materials with infinite potential.

Children who like structure—a defined set of parameters or goals—enjoy the themed building challenges of the program. Children who thrive on open-ended creativity also love Build Club because it allows them to experiment and create whatever they want. Another appeal of Build Club for kids is its open format. Conversation is encouraged during building time, and kids engage with their peers on all sorts of topics while their hands are busy constructing things.

Some of the library Build Clubs focus more on interlocking bricks like Legos, while others have expanded out to include other building materials like Strawbees and other exciting new types of building.

Join us at a library Build Club or Lego Club and see what your imagination can build!
