The Joe Mesics’ Literary Canon meets on the second Wednesdays of the month at the Healdsburg Regional Library from 6:00-7:30pm to discuss great books.

The Canon is a “Great Books” book discussion group started in the Healdsburg Library by readers in 2001. We decide what books we want to read as democratically as we can. Although we believe in great literature, we welcome diverging viewpoints and revel in wide-ranging and lively discussion that brings our experiences to the table.
