Jon Haupt is Branch Manager at the Healdsburg Regional Library and Sonoma County Wine Library, where he provides leadership and direction for the library, overseeing all staff, services and collections. He serves as the library's liaison to community and library support organizations, including the Friends of the Healdsburg Library and the Friends of the Sonoma County Wine Library. Jon has been in the Branch Manager role at the library since June 2015, succeeding his position as Wine Librarian.

Prior to his appointment at the Wine Library in 2012, Jon served as Acting Director and Music Librarian at the Jake and Nancy Hamon Arts Library, a four-floor library dedicated to the visual and performing arts on the campus of Southern Methodist University in Dallas. In addition to the library itself, he oversaw Jerry Bywaters Special Collections and the G. William Jones Film and Video Collection. Before that, he was Fine & Performing Arts Librarian at Iowa State University in Ames, IA, where he served as subject specialist librarian for art & design, music, theater, and dance. Jon holds a master's degree in library and information science from the University of Washington as well as bachelor's and master's degrees in piano performance and musicology from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln.
