Join us Saturday, June 9, 2018, from 1-3pm at Healdsburg Regional Library for a talk and reading by author Luis J. Rodriguez, as part of the library's Summer Reading Author Series.
Luis J. Rodriguez, an award-winning poet and activist. Mr. Rodriguez, Poet Laureate of Los Angeles, is author of the bestselling book Always Running: La Vida Loca, Gang Days in L.A., and many others, including his newest book Borrowed Bones: New Poems from the Poet Laureate of Los Angeles. After his talk and reading, Mr. Rodriguez will be available for audience questions.
Mr. Rodriguez is one of only two Poet Laureates of Los Angeles. He has received numerous other writers’ awards and was one of 50 individuals worldwide selected as “Unsung Heroes of Compassion,” presented by His Holiness, the Dalai Lama.
