Wine Business Institute Research Database
Posted on February 21, 2018
Did you know that Sonoma State’s Wine Business Institute keeps a research database of articles published by their faculty? Many of the articles are available to read online! The articles are sorted by subject, with topics ranging from branding, packaging, wine consumers, etc. For example, under the “Marketing and Sales” category there is an interesting article on wine in Mexico, “Mexican Wine, Beer or Tequila: The Amazing Resilience of Mexico's Wine Industry,” coauthored by Jorge Covarrubias and Liz Thach. Read it here.

Emergence of Modern California Wine
Posted on February 12, 2018
Back on November 8th I was able to attend an event hosted by UC Davis. It was a panel discussion titled “The Emergence of Modern California Wine” featuring Hugh Johnson, Bob Thompson and Warren Winiarski, moderated by Narsai David. It was a great event, so special to have these industry pioneers together on one stage.
If you were not able to attend, UC Davis has posted a video of the talk on YouTube, check it out!
