Sonoma County Aerial Photography Collection
The Sonoma County Library Aerial Photography Collection includes photographs taken from the air and from the tops of tall buildings. The collection records the changes in the Sonoma County landscape over the second half of the 20th century. The majority of images originate from the collection of Henry N. Wallace, Sonoma County Surveyor, taken during the 1960s and early 1970s. Photographer Don Meacham (1929-2010) flew with Wallace and took many of the photographs. The collection is part of the Sonoma County Local History & Culture.
