Class Visits

The Sonoma County Library welcomes class visits to any of our library branches.

What to expect?

Class or group visits can include getting a library card and a variety of different program options. Basic options are a library tour, story time, checking out a book and exploring library resources. Visits are tailored to the class grade level and any special interest. Please let us know if you have any particular assignments or special subjects the children will be working on.

Class Visit Library Cards

There are two ways to get library card applications. The first is a printable PDF of the Library Card Application (also in español). The second is by visiting a library branch. You are welcome to pick up pre-printed library card applications at any branch and return them to the library your class will be visiting.

How do you set this up?

Call and schedule a visit at any of our branches. All branches require advance notice to schedule a visit and, if library cards are to be issued, the return of completed applications at least a week before the visit. Please contact the branch you would like to visit for the specifics on these requirements for that branch.

We look forward to your visit!
